Called “Envelope,” these boat shoes were created for Tod’s, an Italian brand that specializes in bags and footwear. 

Referencing actual tie-to-close envelopes, the slip-on design is decorated with two circles of fabric and a string wrapped around them like an envelope. 

A rubber sole like those traditionally used for deck shoes emphasizes the Tod’s design lineage, and carefully hidden, near-invisible stitching brings out the softness of the shoes while inside, a highly breathable mesh inner gives lightness and a sense of relaxation. The shoes come in black, gray, blue, green, and two shades of brown.
