Collection characterized by a bottom round shape, which help to hold the items with the hands. Urushi kobo oshima which produced this collection, is a traditional lacquer workshop founded in 1909 in japan’s ishikawa prefecture, known for their mastery of the distinctive techniques of regional yamanaka lacquerware and specialty of wood turning. We decided to take advantage of this, so we laquered the inner part, and kept the in natural finish the outer surface, to brings out the richness and appeal of the wood.
